DFCC rewriting to fit the format of the U-space legislative framework adopted by the European Union in 2021 is in progress. DFCC features will be aligned with four required U-space services, defined within the U-space framework (EU 2021/664):

• network identification service,
• geo-awareness service,
• UAS (unmanned aircraft system) flight authorization service,
• traffic information service.
